The two items actually damage buildings and in a Turbo game, it is significantly more effective. Meanwhile, the other courier has a Necronomicon and Meteor Hammer. One of the courier is carrying mana items such as Energy booster which gives the courier some mana and Arcane boots too. In the clip below (Video credits goes to Reddit user, Buurrp), the Radiant team has 2 couriers just beside the Dire Ancient. Heroes gain experience way quicker than in a normal game while buildings become softer than a level 1 hero. Everything is stronger, faster and even weaker. Turbo mode is literally normal game on steroids. A new change has been added, whereby couriers can use items after their respective owner reaches level 25. However, Icefrog did not just nerf couriers without giving something back to our furry friends. It became so much easier to kill not just a single courier but multiple couriers at once due to this nerf. Everyone in the game gets their own courier but they are basically the slowest moving unit in the entire game. With the recent Outlanders update, a new mechanism has been added to Couriers in general. That means nobody can even touch or click on any courier, which is great because PETA wouldn’t be offended about it.
If you are familiar with Turbo mode, you should know that courier’s movement speed is at 1100 movement speed and is also permanently invulnerable. That said, here’s another reason why you should not play Turbo (yet). Really, the only reason why one would play Turbo is probably to practice some hero skills that require combo or memorising like Meepo, Invoker or even micro-based heroes like Chen. Often times, a normal ranked game would last about 35-50 minutes on average while Turbo mode reaches late game at only 20 minutes. Sometimes I open my DOTA2 client and thought to myself, why would anyone even play Turbo mode? Not only does it not affect your MMR but the whole mode doesn’t even help you improve in terms of the actual game.
